Dr. Eric Thomas Weber is associate professor of Educational Policy Studies and Evaluation at the University of Kentucky and co-host of the Philosophy Bakes Bread radio show and podcast, a production of the Society of Philosophers in America (SOPHIA), which airs on WRFL Lexington, 88.1 FM. From 2007 to 2016 he was assistant and then associate professor of Public Policy Leadership and an affiliated faculty member in the School of Law and in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Mississippi. He is also a Contributing Columnist for The Clarion Ledger of Jackson, MS, and The Prindle Post of Greencastle, IN. He has authored four books, including 'Democracy and Leadership' (2013) and 'Uniting Mississippi' (2015). In addition to his work on the radio show, he serves as Executive Director of the Society of Philosophers in America (SOPHIA). From 2011 to 2014, he chaired the American Philosophical Association's Committee on Public Philosophy. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Advisory Board for the Public Philosophy Network. Finally, he has chaired the Society for the Advancement of American Philosophy's Committee on Public Philosophy from 2013 to 2017.
